EXPERTISE Barenco has completed over 2,500 environmental site assessments and remediation projects in Ontario and other Canadian provinces. We have built a reputation as experts in defining problems, developing innovative techniques to overcome obstacles to project completion and communicating with clients clearly, in a manner that enables them to understand their options. In the course of our work, we have often found the need to develop new technologies and systems to meet our clients' requirements. Barenco was the first company in Ontario to obtain a Certificate of Approval from the Ministry of Environment to operate a mobile soil vapour extraction system for the clean-up of petroleum in the sub-surface. This means that we can avoid the delays caused by having to apply for site specific approvals. Barenco also was issued the first mobile Certificate of Approval in Ontario to operate on-site bioremediation systems. On suitable sites, Barenco's bioremediation system has achieved significantly lower remediation costs than other treatment/disposal methods. Barenco's team of environment professionals have been carefully selected based on their educational qualifications and proven record of performance in industry, government and the environmental service industry. The selection process has been designed to ensure that Barenco has the in-house expertise to provide the full range of environmental services required in today's complex regulatory environment. |
